Green Energy Sources

Green Energy Sources: What Are They?

Many homeowners today are looking into integrating green energy sources for developing more energy efficient homes and businesses. A green energy source is power generated through renewable resources, such as the sun, wind and water. The other benefit of green energy sources is their low contribution to global warming, pollution and other environmental issues.

The most popular of green energy sources is the sun. Energy captured from the sun is called solar energy. Of the green energy sources, solar energy is the most popular because it offers multiple options for use. It is possible to harness electrical energy from the sun using solar panels consisting of photovoltaic cells that convert energy from the sun into electricity you can use in your home or business. There are also solar hot water collectors that use the heat of the sun to produce hot water. These solar green energy sources are readily available and increasing in popularity as most homes and businesses can have them mounted on their roof and they can take advantage of lowered utility costs.

The most efficient of green energy sources is wind. Wind has been used to power water pumps for centuries, but has grown in popularity as a way to supplement home and business electricity needs. Wind is the safest and cleanest of the green energy sources as it produces no pollutants and does not contribute to global warming. Wind energy is harnessed by erecting a turbine that spins in the breeze generating electricity. Unlike the sun, which can be found almost anywhere, in order to utilize wind as a green energy source, you must live in an area where wind is readily available.

Water is also a viable participant of green energy sources. Water is less widely used as a green energy source for homes, as not all homes have an available stream to produce the needed electricity. The Amish have used water to power entire shops using conveyer belt systems, so it is an old practice, but it is still being used successfully today. As with solar and wind energy, energy harnessed from moving water is almost completely pollutant free and is generated from a renewable resource.

Green energy sources are available for use to combat global warming, our dependence on fossil fuels and to lower our monthly budget. Investing in green energy sources for your home and business needs can add dollars to your wallet and years to the life of our Earth.

A Good Free Classified Ad

Georgia Free Classified Ads Will Sell Your Products

Do you want to get a big response from your Georgia Free Classified Ad? The answer is simple. Good solid writing,Georgia free classified ads an attention grabbing headline and selling the difference. OK then. Exactly what should you do to get clicks or a phone call from your free classified ad? The answers are simple.

Keep the classified ad to the point. Don’t ramble. If you can say something in ten words, don’t try and use twenty. There is nothing that will cause a prospective customer from going to another ad quicker than writing that doesn’t make sense. Or worse yet is difficult to read. Or even worse repeats itself.

What we want to do is give the reader information that will cause them to click on your link or make the call. We want to give the pertinent facts. We want their curiosity aroused. We want to give them an appetizer so that they will have an appetite for the full meal. We don’t want to make them full, we just want them asking for more.

When we write a classified ad our intent is making a sale. Bottom line. And it would certainly be nice if we could close a sale with a simple free classified ad. But that is not the purpose of a classified. The purpose is to get the customer to make a call, send an email, or click on a website link. Use the KISS method when writing a classified ad. Keep It Simple, Stupid. When the phone call comes in the thing that will make or break a sale is the voice and knowledge on the phone. A free classified can give a small taste only. The sale is made with information that can’t be supplied in as free classified ad. If you have a website that you are advertising the same holds true. Websites cost money. And they cost time. They can hold a great deal of information. There is no need to write a book when posting a free classified ad.

There are other ways of making a free classified ad jump off the page. The word “free” is a great one. Offering something free is one of the best ways of getting a classified ad read. The “free” thing does not have to be something material. It can be something as simple as information. I know of one company that offers a free downloadable tape measure. Simply download the PDF, print of the pages, and then cut the tape measure out and tape it together. The tape measure is accurate by the way. Free information is another way of getting a customer to read an ad. Information that doesn’t cost you or the customer. One good source of free information that you can legally give away and use is the US Government. The government doesn’t copyright the material it produces. The material is for the most part in the public domain and there for the taking.

Using words in your headline that cause a head to turn is another way of getting response from your free classified ad. One homebuilder sold energy efficient homes. He called them “High Performance Homes.” His company consistently sold homes above market value by using a visual image normally associated with a sports car. He sold more homes and his customers got great value. Grabbing the customer’s imagination in a title because of a simple play on words is the sign of a good free classified ad.

Selling the difference between your product and your competitors is important. If your product has more features, is better constructed, lasts longer, or is less expensive place that information in your Georgia Free Classified Ad. Technology makes it easier than ever to comparison shop. Give your customer something to compare.

Children with Attention Disorders. Is a Pill a Cure All

Is Medication the Answer to Attention Deficit Disorder?

I have been in the social services field for thirty years. During that time I havePill being gripped with pliers. seen many new labels for attention disorders as well as a wide array of new medications that are available to treat various mental health disorders. It seems that different disorders become popular at different times. When a new label for a group of behaviors is discussed you will see multiple people come back from psychological testing with that diagnosis. This is especially true for children.

When I first began my career in social services, children that had attention disorders in the classroom were labeled hyper kinetic. Many tests were done on these children to determine if there were genetic or environmental causes for the lack of attention span. As time went on a different psychologist created the label of attention deficit disorder.

Today there are hundreds of children that are given this label each year and the pharmaceutical companies are developing different attention deficit disorder medication. I ask the families that I work with to use caution when using these drugs to treat what may be a learned behavior in their child. Children that are afflicted with attention deficit disorder need to have medication to cope. They are not able to attend to their surroundings without it. However attention deficit disorder medication has many side effects and so I ask parents to get two different testing sources prior to placing their child on attention deficit disorder medication.

I feel that often times the quick fix of giving a pill teaches a child that they do not have to take the responsibility to change their behavior. As I work with more and more people as the years pass I find that troubled adults with few skills for coping with any type of life issues, have been on some type of medication for the majority of their lives.

Not all of them have been on attention deficit disorder medication, but this is by far the most prevalent. They learn early on in life that they can excuse their behavior by hiding behind a label. This is a disservice to the child and adult. They need to learn different ways to help them increase their attention span.

The medication should be used to help the child begin the process of being able to sit still long enough to learn new and better coping skills. Medication alone is not the answer, there needs to be a lesson plan that builds skills along with the attention deficit disorder medication.
